Top Knot Baby Beanie

An essential baby beanie with a playful top knot. The pattern is beginner friendly and easy to follow. The beanie is worked in the round without seams, from the bottom up. Instructions are provided for both Magic Loop and DPN knitters. Eight sizes are available with a measurement reference table (Preemie, Newborn, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 1-2 years, 2-3 years). SKILL LEVEL: Beginner SOCIAL: check out #woolturepattern and #woolturebaby NEEDLES & NOTIONS: 4.5 mm (7 US) double point needles (DPNs) or circular needles for working in magic loop technique. Use smaller or larger needles to obtain the required gauge. Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends, four stitch markers (for magic loop only). Optional: round counter. YARN & GAUGE Any worsted weight yarn that meets the gauge requirements. You will need approximately 40/46/52/58/68/74/80/88 meters (44/50/57/63/74/81/87/96 yards) of worsted yarn for a hat depending on the selected size.
