The body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round to the underarms, then joined for the yoke. **SKILL LEVEL** Intermediate. The pattern includes written instructions, charts, and helpful video tutorials for every stitch and technique used in the pattern. **SIZE INFORMATION** The pattern includes 6 sizes that fit a chest circumference of 78-119 cm (30¾-46¾“). The recommended positive ease, depending on the size, is approximately 11–22 cm (4¼–8¾“).The pattern includes a size guide to help you choose the right size. Finished Bust Circumference: Size 1: 95 cm (37½“) Size 2: 100 cm (39½”) Size 3: 105 cm (41¼“) Size 4: 110 cm (43¼”) Size 5: 120 cm (47¼“) Size 6: 132 cm (52”) **YARN** The sweater is originally knitted with a double strand of kid mohair/silk (70% mohair, 30% silk, 210 m (230 yards) per 25 g). For example: Drops Kid Silk, Lana Gatto Silk Mohair, Lana Grossa Silk Hair, Mohair by Canard Brushed Lace, and similar alternatives. Yarn amount: Size 1: 1260 m (1380 yds) Size 2: 1365 m(1495 yds) Size 3: 1470 m(1610 yds) Size 4: 1575 m (1725 yds) Size 5: 2100 m (2300 yds) Size 6: 2310 m (2530 yds) The meterage is provided for a double strand. If using a single strand alternative, divide the amount by two. **NEEDLES** • 3 mm (US 2) circular needles, 80 cm (32"), for ribbing on the body and sleeves (using the magic loop technique for the sleeves). • 5 mm (US 8) circular needles, 80 cm (32"), for the lace section of the body and sleeves (using the magic loop technique for the sleeves). • 3 mm (US 2) circular needles, 40 cm (16"), for neckline ribbing. GAUGE • Stockinette stitch: 17 sts × 22 rows = 10 cm (4”) on 5 mm (US 8) needles. • Lace Pattern: 19 sts × 22 rows = 10 cm (4”) on 5 mm (US 8) needles. Needle sizes are recommendations – adjust as needed to achieve the correct gauge. No need to knit a swatch in the lace pattern – it is difficult to measure accurately.
