Preemie Sweetpea Cardigan

After my Mum introduced me to the [Warm Baby Project][1] charity on Facebook, I wanted to help by making some short-sleeved cardigans similar to my Sweetpea Cardigan design. Most charities like this prefer acrylic yarn (for easy care) in a double knit weight (seems to be the more popular weight), and so the Preemie Sweetpea Cardigan was created. This is a quick and simple design that looks good in any colour. One piece. No seams. Finished in a day or less. The Sweetpea Cardigan is named after my father’s nickname for me when I was little. Starting with the collar at the top, increases are added to make the shoulders and short sleeves.
