Starflake

*Starflake was originally published as the tenth annual Westknits Mystery Shawl KAL. Two colors of fingering weight yarn create a collage of graphic shapes for this top-down shawl. Garter stitch parallelograms with I-cord edges establish the star shape followed by stripes, brioche, short rows, and eyelets. There is also a garter stitch option to knit instead of brioche stitch if you prefer a simpler section. YouTube technique videos accompany each section of the shawl to help as you knit. A striped I-cord bind off frames the border for this striking shawl.* **Finished Measurements** 78” / 198cm wingspan length, 27" / 69cm along the center of the shawl.
