Wavelet Scarf

Wavelet Scarf is a simple scrap yarn project featuring decorative textured knitting. The scarf is worked flat, with increases along the edges and on either side of the center stitch. This creates a triangular shape that gradually grows as you knit. A simple combination of decreases and yarn overs, creates waves throughout the scarf. The eyelets, together with stockinette and garter stitch, gives the scarf a light and interesting pattern, reminiscent of gentle waves in water - wavelets. The blue scarf is knitted in the large size and in the yarn specified by the pattern. The size can easily be adjusted to suit the amount of yarn you have available. Simply work as many pattern repeats as you like, or until you run out of yarn.
