Currant cardigan (knitting)

The updated and re-engineered version of my fav design, meet the knitted Currant cardigan as a classic stitch-counted pattern. Now it's calculated for certain gauge, you have to obtain **17 sts and 24 rows in stockinette stitch in 10x10 swatch on 5.00 [US8] needles after blocking.** **Sizes:** 0-6 months ,6-12 months, 12-18 months, 24 months, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years. **Yarn:** Drops Air (150 m/50 g [164 yds/1.75 oz]) (total – 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6 balls for each size correspondingly) Yarn alternatives: Sandnes Garn Kos, Infinity Air, Mishel Drey **Knitting skills (medium):** basic knitting skills, reading charts, Kitchener stitch or 3 needle bind-off, bobbles, picking up stitches for sleeves and neck band. **Knitting needles:** circular 5 mm [US 8] with 80 cm [32 in] cable and DPNs; circular 3 mm [US 2½ ] with 80 cm [32 in] cable and DPNs. or any to obtain the gauge. **Additional notions:** tapestry needle, cable needle, 3 stitch holders (can be substituted by just contrasting waste yarn), 5-6 buttons (18-20 mm diameter [0.5-0.8 in], scissors, removable stitch markers.
