Scrap Yarn Kids Sweater A colourful little sweater made from the yarn you already have. Do you have a basket full of beautiful leftover yarns that you can't bear to throw away? Scrap Yarn Kids Sweater was designed to give those little leftovers a new life — turning them into a unique, colourful sweater for the little ones you love. This is a top-down raglan design available in two versions: pullover and cardigan, with six sizes from 6 months to 5 years. The beauty of this sweater is that there is no need for a specific colour palette. You can use the yarns already in your stash and create a combination that is completely your own. Every sweater can be different! Let your scraps tell the story Working with leftover yarn can be exciting, but choosing which colours to put together isn't always easy. That's why the pattern includes an additional colour-selection and colour-distribution guide, with extra photos and examples to help you make confident colour choices and create a harmonious combination from the yarns you already have. Whether you prefer soft and subtle colours, bright and playful combinations, or a wonderfully unexpected mix — the choice is yours. The goal is not to make every sweater look the same. The goal is to make yours. Yarn The sweater is designed using DK-weight scrap yarn. You are not limited to one specific yarn or fibre. You can use wool, cotton, acrylic, or another yarn of your choice, as long as it meets the required gauge and is suitable for children. For the best result, the leftover yarns used in the project should be of the same fibre type. Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch using 3.5 mm needles.
