Rosemary Cardigan and Vest

The Rosemary Cardigan and Vest, part of the Herbarium Collection, is finally here! With details inspired by it's namesake, the design features a leaf like cable edging that runs down the sleeves, and sides of the garment as well as the neckline highlighting the simple texture of the body of the piece. It's knitted up in light DK weight yarn, Semilla Pura, on size US 7/4.5 mm needles. The construction is top-down beginning at the back of the neck. A split hem detail is highlighted by the cabled edges. All the edging is worked as you knit the piece. As with all my garment designs, this piece is size inclusive with actual bust measurements from 29"/73 cm through 65"/165 cm, not counting 4-6"/10-15 cm of positive ease. My sample is knitted up in light DK weight yarn, Semilla Pura, on size US 7/4.5 mm needles. In this pattern there is the option to create either a vest, or a long sleeved cardigan making this a versatile piece for any season.
