The smallest size (shown) fits 6-9 months. For the medium size (9-12 months), the pattern calls for 400-500 yards DK weight yarn and US 7 needles. For the large size (12-15 months), the pattern calls for 400-500 yards worsted weight yarn and US 9 needles. Don’t be dismayed by the number of rows in this pattern—it’s actually very intuitive.
