Jean-Gilet est un grand gilet sans manches, boutonné, tricoté entièrement en jersey endroit, avec de jolies finitions en jersey double endroit et côtes 1/1, avec deux fils tenus ensemble, un pure laine et un silk mohair, pour un rendu très chaud. Il s’inscrit dans l’esprit d’un gilet de grand-père vintage oversize, et deviendra vite un indispensable absolu de votre dressing ! Porté ouvert, porté boutonné, à même la peau ou par-dessus une chemise, il se glissera également sur un pull ou sous un manteau l’hiver, IN-DIS-PEN-SA-BLE on a dit ! Équivalent métrage (pour chaque fil) : 580 – 630 – 670 – 730 – 780 – 870 – 930 – 1000 – 1070 – 1160 mètres. • Aiguilles circulaires n°4 et n°5 (longueur conseillée 80 cm). • 2 anneaux marqueurs à fermoirs (amovibles), 1 anneau marqueur, 7 boutons de 19 – 20 mm de diamètre environ, ramasse mailles, aiguille à laine, ciseaux. Échantillon : tricoté en jersey endroit à plat, avec les aiguilles n°5 et les deux fils tenus ensemble : 16 mailles x 24 rangs pour un carré de 10 cm de côté, après blocage. Tour de poitrine gilet : 105 – 110 – 115 – 120 – 125 – 135 – 145 – 155 – 165 – 175 cm Aisance positive recommandée 20 à 30 cm. Pour choisir quelle taille faire, mesurer son tour de poitrine, y ajouter l’aisance recommandée ou souhaitée, et tricoter la taille correspondante en tour de poitrine gilet. (Je porte la taille 4 avec environ 32 cm d’aisance positive). Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch worked flat on 5 mm / US 8 needles with both yarns held together. Chest circumference (fullest point): 105 – 110 – 115 – 120 – 125 – 135 – 145 – 155 – 165 – 175 cm / 41 ¼ - 43 ¼ - 45 ¼ - 47 ¼ - 49 ¼ - 53 ¼ - 57 – 61 – 65 – 69 inches. To be worn with 20 – 30 cm / 7 ¾ - 11 ¾ inches of positive ease. To choose which size to fit, measure your chest circumference, add recommended or desired ease and knit the corresponding size in chest circumference (fullest point). (I wear size 4 with 32 cm / 12 ½ inches positive ease).
