Blooming Brioche KAL

This KAL is designed to introduce fans of two color brioche knitting to new and interesting configurations of the stitch. It originally ran in November of 3018, but you can still join in at your own speed using the youtube videos. There are many patterns available that use the brioche technique, but it can be intimidating to make the leap from simple variations to projects with multiple stages, shaping, and stitch patterns. Starting with a recap of the basic 2 color brioche stitch, we will work our way through this project together. The stitch pattern in the shawl reminds me of a flower, growing from a seed into a full bloom. There are three stages of the pattern , each containing different floral motifs. A lot of brioche stitch motifs look like plants and flowers, but the increases and decreases that are needed to make these motifs are not always standard. In every stage, there is an introductory video explaining what types of new stitches and techniques are used and there are individual videos of each stitch instruction. In total, there are over 2 hours of video content to help you learn every increase, decrease, and specific technique in the pattern. The instructions aren't explained row by row in video, but you can always get help in the [forums][1] if you get stuck with the instructions. This pattern is best suited for someone who has basic knowledge of two color brioche.
