Vortex Shawl

Size shown is approx. 60” across using two skeins of Acero. (820 yds total) Although Acero is recommended for drape, any fingering weight yarn can be subbed. The pattern can easily be adjusted for a larger size by continuing the stitch pattern around until desired size is achieved. [It can be found here][1]... To help explain the place marker location: Each repeat is noted with * on either side. So for Row 1 *YO, K1* place marker after the K1. Each section of the written pattern is a repeat, or “section” of the shawl itself. So for Row 1 - * YO, K1 * that is one repeat - you’ll do this 7 more times, with a total of 8 “sections” or repeats divided by stitch markers. The stitch marker would go after the * at the end of the repeat, no matter what the stitch is. 8 repeats is one row. I recommend using one color for the first marker, and a different color for all the rest. This will help you know when you are back around to the beginning again. Errata - Line 13 says YO, K1, YO, K2, YO, K2TOG but it should be YO, K1, YO, K2, YO, K2, K2TOG New copies of the pattern downloaded after 11/2/11 will have the corrected line 13.
