These **innovative low-cut socks** expose a deeper, curved portion of the top of the foot and the ankle. This is why they look much more flattering on all sizes of ankles, since they do not visually cut the foot off horizontally, like most other hand-knit short socks do. Because of the lower “décolleté” at the top section, they also have the advantage of being completely hidden when worn in shoes - making them the perfect secret ally in winter, keeping toes and feet still toasty warm without compromising style or the lately ubiquitous “no-sock” trend. In this pattern a **toe up construction with a gusseted heel** is used: This method provides a good fit and the ability to check the length of the sock quickly and easily during knitting. It also presents the **advantage of using up different bits of yarn**; just weigh them first and halve the amount to use in each sock! Different **photo-tutorials** are included, which explain some new way to work symmetric decreases at the heel. **Sizing** (Shoe / Foot sizes): C1: Children’s 9-12 / 26-30 EU = 6½ in /16,5cm foot circumference. 7 in / 18 cm foot length.
