Foresta Balaclava

The Foresta balaclava is a two-tone balaclava with optional ears. It is worked in the round starting at the neck in 1x1 ribbing. Increases are incorporated to shape the transition to the head section, which is then worked flat in stockinette stitch. Short rows are used to shape the top of the head. Using the second colour, stitches are picked up around the edge to work the trim in 1x1 ribbing. The bear ear pieces are knitted separately and then sewn onto the balaclava.
