V's Shag Bag

A simple, funky shoulder bag worked in the round with a fuzzy texture. The handles are knit separately and sewn at the top, creating a sturdy carry for special occasions. This is my first knitting pattern! I'm not a professional knitwear designer, and this pattern has not yet been tested by other knitters. I've written it based on my own experience making the bag. Thank you for giving this a try, and please don't hesitate to reach out with suggestions! * Sizes: One size * Finished dimensions: width 25 cm, body height 20cm, handle length 40 cm * Yarn: Lana Grossa Basta (50g / 100m per ball) used double strand, 400 m (4 balls), pictured colorway Apricot * Gauge: 12 sts × 16 rows = 10 cm (using double-stranded Lana Grossa Basta on 7.5 mm needles, in stockinette stitch) Needles: 7.5 mm This bag is worked in the round using the magic loop method. The body is worked continuously in stockinette stitch. Handles are knit flat for the first 2 rows, then in the round until desired length. Handle ends are seamed together at the top for a finished look. The fuzzy texture of Lana Grossa Basta makes this bag visually striking and provides natural texture variation.
