First, the Back Yoke is worked, then the two halves of the Front are formed by picking up stitches along the shoulder line, the V-neckline is being shaped, after which the two halves of the Front are joined. Back and Front are joined after completion of armhole shaping, after which the Body of the vest is worked in one piece in the round until the desired overall length of the garment has been reached.
