Springtime Serenade Shawl

I drew this shawl using the flowers, leaves, and butterflies from my [Ashlee's 2020 Mother's Day CAL](/patterns/sources/ashlees-2020-mothers-day-cal) *(see [https://ashleeslint.com/2020-mothers-day-cal/])*[1]. I wanted to celebrate my beginnings with this new shawl! ______ The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern. [YouTube Tutorials][2] Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color's single crochet stitches to create the design. If you use fingering weight yarn (1 – super fine), you’ll get a more lightweight shawl. Make one of each!
