Cozy Season Knit Pumpkin

The Cozy Season Knit Pumpkin is easy and quick to make! Ideal for those half skeins you sure have in your stash. The pattern includes instructions for two sizes: large and small. The large is knit in the round with circular needles. The small is knit flat and sewn together but it can be done with the magic loop method or double pointed needles. If so, follow the instructions of the large size. This is a great project to clean up your yarn collection and to decorate your house for the Fall. They also make a great gift for your loved ones! The pattern is written in US standard terms. SUGGESTED YARN: Super Bulky (CYC 6) weight yarn like Lion Brand Thick and Quick, Malabrigo Rasta or any other yarn that meets gauge. NEEDLES: US 11 / 8 mm, 16” circular needles. Shorter tips are recommended for a more comfortable knitting in the round experience. OTHER NOTIONS and MATERIALS: Tapestry needle. Scissors. Tape measure. Row counter (optional). Stuffing, approximately 30 g. Cinnamon stick. Ribbon. Hot glue or other glue. GAUGE: 9 stitches x 14 rows in 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not very important but any changes to it will affect the amount of yarn needed and the final dimensions provided. YARDAGE: LARGE: 40 yards / 65 g approximately.
