Gneddy spends every moment she can outside, even when frosty moments mean cold hands. **Yarn Weight** I’ve designed this gnome in fingering weight yarn from [**Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts**][1]. Even though the pattern isn’t designed for DK, I know many of you prefer to knit with thicker yarn. Several test knitters and dyers worked up versions of her in DK. The kits in DK will contain enough yarn that you can make the gnome. If you would like to source your own DK yarn or use leftovers, I recommend a 40 g minimum.
