Zinnia Sweater

This is a top-down knitted garment featuring a long circular yoke and a shorter, cropped length. If you prefer, you can simply knit it longer. The beginning of the pattern is the same for all sizes. What changes is the number of increase sequences worked for the yoke and the length knitted after the increases, before separating the sleeves. You can try the garment on as you go and decide which size to follow during the process. The short rows are used to shape the neckline, but they are completely optional! The pattern works very well without them as well. The yarn used for the sample is Yarn #97, Merino Light by Made By You. It has a yardage of 300 m per 100 g. A 5 mm (US 8) needle was used throughout the entire project. For the yoke, a cable of at least 100 cm (40") is recommended, as the yoke becomes quite wide.
