Ornament Slipover

Ornament Slipover is part of our 2026 Christmas collection. Ornament Slipover is a fun Christmas vest worked from the bottom up using 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. Around the bottom of the body, it features a decorative border of baubles hanging from spruce branches – just like on a decorated Christmas tree. You start with the ribbed hem and afterwards work the body in the round up to the underarms. Here, work is divided and front and back are finished separately working back and forth while shaping armholes and neckline at the same time. Stitches for the neckband and armhole edges are picked up and finished in rib.
