I made the first sample blanket with 4ply hand dyed yarns and a cotton plain yarn (Scheepjes Organicon) but subsequently have used all manner of yarns including Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo Cotton, Yarnsmiths Merinio and a Scheepjes Whirl and Whirlette. As with all blankets the world is your oyster, go forth and plunder your stash!
