Snow Crystals on Pines

You’ll also gain discounts to my other patterns!*** **Snow Crystals on Pines** is reminiscent of an old favourite with a contemporary vibe. The cardigan is adapted from its sister pullover **Old Love**, a design I created for Making Stories magazine in the fall of 2023. The design was originally inspired by a walk down memory lane to the golden age of ski fashion from the mid to late 1970s and early 1980s. **Snow Crystals on Pines** is worked from the top down. There are two versions - **Version 1** is worked back and forth with no steeking and **Version 2** is worked in the round with steeking. A section of German Short Rows is worked at the back neck for a relaxed fit. Sleeves have minimal shaping for a relaxed, modern look. The instructions are written to use DPNs, however an alternate method of working small circumferences can be used, such as Magic-Loop, or a short circular needle for the larger sizes.
