Atrium Set

Atrium is an architectural cowl and wrist-warmer set, inspired by the geometry, symmetry and ornamentation of the Art Deco movement. The set is decorative enough to make a statement, but designed to become a practical part of the wardrobe, giving you both style and warmth. Atrium includes fully charted and written instructions for both the cowl and wrist-warmers. Two circumference options are provided, allowing the cowl to be worked with either two or three pattern repeats.Both versions have the same height. The wrist warmers are worked in the round and feature a geometric ribbed/cabled pattern. They are designed with negative ease so that the finished fabric can fit a range of hand and wrist sizes. Difficulty: Intermediate. Measurements: Cowl (3 repeats) Approx. 90 cm circumference x 43 cm height. Cowl (2 repeats) Approx 64 cm circumference x 43 cm height. Wrist warmers: Approx 21 cm circumference x 32 cm height. YARN: The sample is worked in Worsted / Aran-weight merino wool held together with silk mohair. The set may be worked with Aran-weight alone, without the mohair. Atrium is designed as a complete matching set, but each piece can of course be worn independently.
