Tropical Fish

This Knitting Pattern PDF gives you instructions for Angelfish & Butterflyfish in both small & large sizes. Both fish are knitted in only two pieces and seamed together. The large Anglefish and Butterflyfish are knitted in DK acrylic yarns using stocking stitch, the smaller fish are knitted in cotton yarns. The large Angelfish measures 22cm from the front of the mouth to the end of the tail & 20cm from the top of the upper fin to the bottom of the lower fin, & the smaller Angelfish measures 17cm from the front of the mouth to the end of the tail & 15cm from the top of the upper fin to the bottom of the lower fin. The large Butterflyfish measures 21cm from the lowest part of the fin to the top of the fish & 17cm from the front of the nose to the end of the tail and the small Butterflyfish, made in cotton yarn, measures 18cm from the from the lowest part of the fin to the top of the fish & 14cm from the front of the nose to the end of the tail. Skilled needed to complete the pattern are: casting on and off, increasing using kfb, decreasing using k2tog., and working short rows using w&t. You will need yarn DK yarn in acrylic in 3 colours & 3.5mm needles for the large fish, & 4 ply cotton yarn in 3 colours and 2.5mm needles for the small fish.
