Hedgehog Parade

A little rustle in the leaves, a tiny parade on its way... . Meet these playful socks inspired by the little visitors who return to our garden every autumn. Every year, a hedgehog family comes to explore our garden, quietly wandering among the fallen leaves. I wanted to capture a little piece of that autumn magic in a knitting chart – a cheerful parade of tiny hedgehogs making their way around the socks. **Constructions Notes** These socks are knit from the toe up, featuring a Shadow Wrap Heel. The chart is knitted with three colours, so it may not be the easiest project for a stranded-colourwork beginner, but I hope the playful hedgehogs make every stitch worth it. **Size** One size – ideal for the circumference 20 – 23 cm (8 - 9 inches). Leg/foot length is adjustable. You can achieve the different size with another yarn, or changing size of the needles. **Gauge information** 36 sts x 44 rnds = 10 cm in stockinette stitch and ribbing 34 sts x 38 rnds = 10 cm in stranded colorwork
