With this pattern, you can transform your own porch goose into Lady Beatrice Blackwood, a distinguished Victorian lady with impeccable taste and somewhere to be after dark. Perfect for Halloween, fall decorating, or year-round gothic porch décor. ✨**WHAT YOU'LL MAKE** This pattern includes instructions to crochet: - Black and burgundy dress with ruffles - Lace collar - Cameo with a choice of five printable templates - Puffy sleeves with lace cuffs - Wings - Victorian-style wig - Riding hat with flowers **YOU'LL NEED** - Worsted-weight yarn in burgundy, black, off-white, brown, and white - 5.0 mm (H) crochet hook - 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook - Yarn needle - small amount of Poly-Fil (or any kind of stuffing) - Sharp scissors - Small piece of black felt - Printer & one sheet of printer paper - Glue (fabric glue, hot glue, glue dots, plain old white glue, or whatever you have on hand) to attach the felt template to the cameo brooch You’ll also need a porch goose to dress up. If you want to match my sample, I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic in Wine, Black, Off-White, Mocha, and White. You can substitute any worsted-weight yarn in similar shades. **SIZE & FIT** This pattern was designed using worsted-weight yarn to fit a 23" standard porch goose. Porch geese can vary slightly in size and shape, even when they're marketed as the same size, so I recommend keeping your goose nearby while you crochet and checking the fit as you go.
