Fageda

The Fageda socks feature beautiful leaves cascading down the length of the sock all the way to the toe. The shape of the leaves resemble beech leaves, which is where the name comes from: Fageda means beech forest in Catalan. SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4) FINISHED MEASUREMENTS **Leg/Foot Circumference:** 6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5)" / 16.5 (19, 21, 23.5) cm. **Leg Length:** Adjustable. **Foot Length:** Adjustable. **Recommended ease:** 0.5–1" / 1.5–2.5 cm of negative ease. MATERIALS **Yarn:** 1 (1, 1, 1) skein of Peülla by Xolla (60% Catalan wool and 40% Spanish Merino, 437 yds / 400 m – 100 g). Or approx. 232 (265, 298, 331) yds / 212 (242, 273, 303) m of fingering-weight yarn. Note! The yardage estimates are based on Length B. If knitting Length A, you will need approx. 10% less yarn. For Length C, allow approx. 20% more yarn. **Needles:** US 1 / 2.25, 32" / 80 cm circular needles. **Notions:** Stitch markers, cable needle. GAUGE 34 sts x 44 rnds to 4" / 10 cm on US 1 / 2.25 mm needle in Textured Pattern, in the round, after blocking. NOTES This pattern is written for the Magic Loop method. If you prefer using double-pointed needles or a 9" / 23 cm circular needle, simply distribute the stitches accordingly. CONSTRUCTION These socks are knitted from the cuff down and feature a comfy and easy-to-knit strong heel construction. The toe is finished with a knitted tubular bind-off, for a clean, polished look.
