Designed over the course of one car ride, this scarf is a quick and relaxing way to use up a skein of your favourite yarn. Using right twists (no cables!), this scarf knits up into a delicately wispy but warm accessory that can be worn fall, winter, and spring! SIZES One size FINISHED MEASUREMENTS **Length:** 58" / 147 cm. **Width:** 1.75" / 4.5 cm. MATERIALS **Yarn:** 1 skein of Fluff by The Wandering Flock (35% baby suri, 15% wool, 50% pima cotton, 131 yds / 120 m – 50 g), in the colourway Sand. Or approx. 131 yds / 120 m of worsted-weight yarn. Alternative yarn suggestions are for example Feeling Good Yarn by Wool and the Gang or Brigitte No. 2 by Lana Grossa. **Needles:** US 8 / 5 mm short circular, or a pair of straight or DPNs. **Notions:** Crochet hook and waste yarn for Provisional Cast-On. GAUGE 14 sts x 28 rows to 1.75 x 4" / 4.5 x 10 cm in Patt, after blocking For a gauge swatch, we recommend working 14 sts in Row 5–8 patt to ensure you are happy with the density of fabric created by your combination of needles and yarn. CONSTRUCTION Beginning with a Provisional Cast-On, a short i-cord is worked, after which stitches are picked up along the side to create a smooth edge at the first tip of the scarf. Maintaining an i-cord edge on both sides, the scarf is shaped with gentle increases and worked in a four-row pattern repeat to the desired length.
