**German translation soon available** **ESSENTIAL_LOOP_SWEATER** has a loose and relaxed classic fit with a simple and timeles expression. The sweater has a European shoulder construction, which gives an elegant fit and a refined shoulder style. The super soft yarn combination gives the sweater a light yet substantial feel, while adding an understated luxury that makes it an essential wardrobe favorite. The pattern includes instructions for both a crewneck and a turtleneck. The sweater is worked from top to bottom. First the back piece of the sweater is worked back and forth. Increases are worked to shape the upper back, then the piece is continued in stockinette. Finally, increases are worked to shape the armholes. The shoulders are worked individually with short rows, followed by increases for the neck opening. The front piece is then joined and worked back and forth until making increases for the armholes.Stitches for the sleeves are picked up along each armhole. The sleeve cap is shaped with short rows, then the sleeves are worked in the round. The body and sleeves are finished with rib and Italian bind off.
