Juliet Scarf

The Juliet Scarf is a light, fluffy scarf with ribbing on both sides, so there’s no visible wrong side. No garter stitch, no stockinette, just reversible ribbing from end to end. Worked flat, the scarf begins with three stitches, gradually increases to 18, then tapers back to three stitches before binding off. The finished scarf measures approximately 43 inches / 109 cm long and 2 inches / 5 cm wide after blocking, long enough to wrap twice around your neck. The pattern uses approximately 20g of mohair yarn held double. The length and width are easy to customize: work more rows through the middle for a longer scarf, or add increase repeats and matching decrease repeats for a wider one. Either adjustment will require additional yarn. A quick little project for that leftover mohair you’ve been saving.
