Suitable for 23 cm IKEA rat (Gåsig RÅTTA). Use sport or fingering weight leftover yarn in contrasting colours. I used about 20 grams of Kauni 8/2 wool yarn. The pattern has short rows, but you can skip those if you don't feel like it. The sleeves are knit like thumbs on mittens (but without gusset). You can use [this video][1] (start at 7:26) as a reference but you can also use your own favourite method for thumbs. The pattern assumes that you are using five double pointed knitting needles, but you can use four, or use magic loop if that's your jam. The rat will not care about any of these changes, I promise.
