Cat (or stuffie) Witch Hat

It’s spooky season and I have a new machine that makes icord, so I’ve combined these two things into a funny, quick little hat that will fit a small animal or a range of stuffed friends. You don’t have to use icord, but it’s a fun way to change up how your yarn looks! Icord is roughly equivalent to super bulky yarn, so any blanket yarn should also work. Size this is one size, but fits all my cats, and we have 4 of them in various sizes! This should fit even extra large babies, but you may need a smaller one if you’ve got a really skinny minnie - in that case you can stop and move onto the brim after row 8 (you’ll want an even number to start brim increases), or use slightly thinner yarn and smaller needles. Keep your ear holes larger than you think you need though - kitties don’t like having the yarn too close to their ears! Gauge 10 stitches oer 4 inches. Gauge isn’t *super* critical but you should be somewhere in the vicinity. Materials any super bulky yarn; I used icord that I made from hand dyed sock yarn size 11 circular needles tapestry needle to weave in ends
