Loyalton Shawl is simple to follow and easy to knit so it's a perfect for knitters just looking to play with color. Loyalton Shawl has instructions for each different set up for ease of knitting! YARN ~380-400 grams of fingering weight yarn A variety of fingering weight leftovers were used to knit this design Center color used ~5 grams, green rectangles used 10 grams or less per rectangle (20 different shades, 10 light and 10 dark). Blue rectangles used 15 grams or less per rectangle (20 different shades, 10 light and 10 dark.) NEEDLES US 5 (3.75mm) / 32” (80 cm needle) or longer NOTIONS Tapestry Needle GAUGE 23 stitches x 22 garter bumps = 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked garter Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
