Ori began with a small thought about folding: how something simple can change direction and become something new. Fabric turns and folds into a sculptural crown, a linked seam draws the shape together, and a tiny crystal bead marks the meeting point. Simple in form yet playful in possibility, Ori invites you to explore fibre, texture, colour, and your own little touch of light. MATERIALS Yarn Options One yarn throughout Nutiden — 315 (345, 382) metres; 59 (65, 72) grams. Michell Alpaca Prima — 292 (320, 354) metres; 88 (97, 107) grams. Two yarns Brim: Lana Grossa Setasuri — 122 (134, 148) metres; 14 (16, 17) grams. Body: Shetland Heritage, fingering weight — 194 (212, 235) metres; 44 (49, 54) grams. Beads Crown: one 8mm bead. Edge line: half the cast-on stitch count, in size 8 beads. GAUGE 28 stitches & 42 rnds = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4") in stockinette stitch with 2.75 mm (US 2) needles, after blocking. NEEDLES ~10% excess included. Suggested Size: 2.75 mm (US 2), or needle size required to meet gauge. DIMENSIONS Ori is graded into sizes 1 (2, 3), corresponding to Adult S (M, L).
