Moran-Angmoo Sweater

Moran Angmoo Sweater translates in Korean to "Lovebird Sweater" (or simply Moran Sweater). I knitted this piece holding in mind the round, balloon-like shape and soft peach-colored plumage of a lovebird. The sample shown in the photo is worn in Size L. Knitted with two strands of exceptionally silky yarn held together on needles larger than recommended, it allows you to knit effortlessly without straining your hands. When switching to this project from other knits, you can immediately feel how comfortable and relaxing it is on your hands. It is so easy to put on and take off that I envisioned wearing it like casual autumn/winter sportswear in a cropped style by inserting a drawstring into the folded hem. It’s perfect for throwing on after a workout or changing at the gym. I feel like I might end up knitting several more of these in various colors to wear every single day. Because the body is very wide, it drapes sideways, making it look slightly longer than its measured length. However, if you want extra warmth and snugness, knitting it longer is a great option too.
