**About** “Hespera” takes its name from the ancient Greek word for evening and from Hesperus, the evening star that appears as daylight gently fades. Like these in-between times, the Hespera Slipover is designed as a versatile layering piece to accompany you throughout the year. The Hespera Slipover is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back is worked flat first, with the shoulders shaped through increases, followed by additional increases to form the armholes. Stitches are then picked up for each front shoulder separately. The crew neckline is shaped with increases before the two fronts are joined by casting on stitches at the center front. The front is then worked flat, with the armholes shaped to mirror the back. Once the front and back are joined at the underarms, the body is worked in the round to the hem. A subtle cable and eyelet panel runs along the center front, adding a refined detail while preserving the clean, timeless silhouette.
