This is an easy pattern for a sunflower hot pad. The sunflower center is worked in the round and then the yellow petals are added and the second row is added behind the first. The back piece is worked in the round also and the petals are joined to the outer edge of the backing. A size G-6, 4mm crochet hook is used in this project. The yarn is Lily Sugar and Cream in the colors Sunshine, Sage Green and Warm Brown. The pattern is worked following written instructions, no chart. Single crochet is used throughout this project.
