도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
Nancy is a fitted, cropped tee with set-in short sleeves, a subtle all-over seed-pearl texture and contrast trim at the neck, sleeves and hem. It can be knit in a variety of fibers — everything from cotton-linen to wool-cotton and in between — making it perfect for spring, summer and fall.
Nancy is worked top down, starting with the back yoke. The shoulder slopes are shaped with German short rows, and the back is knit flat down to the underarm. Stitches are then picked up from the cast-on edge for the front shoulders; each is worked flat with increases shaping the round neckline, joined across a centre-front cast-on, and knit down to the underarm. Front and back are joined in the round with a cast-on at each underarm, and the body is worked straight to the cropped hem, finished in k1, p1 rib with an Italian bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around each armhole, the sleeve caps are shaped with German short rows, and the neckline and cuffs are finished with a folded contrast trim. Because it's worked from the top down, you can try it on as you go and set the length where you want it.
**Techniques you'll need**
The *Seed-Pearl Block Stitch* (Nancy's signature stitch), German short rows, picking up stitches, the Italian bind-off and a crochet bind-off for the folded trims — each is written out step by step in the pattern, with a [video tutorial](https://youtu.be/gcise2hI5II) for the crochet bind-off. The pattern is charted for every size; the written instructions carry the setup, the waypoints and the stitch counts.

**Choosing your size**
Choose your size by your **shoulder-to-shoulder** measurement first — the straight horizontal distance between the highest points of your two shoulders. Nancy's shoulder seams are meant to sit just inside the natural shoulder point. If you're between sizes, choose by your **bust** measurement against the body-bust ranges: 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm / 29½–31½ (31½–33½) 33½–35½ (35½–37½) 37½–39¼ (39¼–43¼) 43¼–47¼ (47¼–51¼) 51¼–55 (55–59)". If your shoulder measurement points to a size more than one step above your bust range, choose the size one step above your bust size instead.
Nancy is designed with 0–5 cm (0–2") of ease relative to each size's body-bust range for XXS–L, and 0–10 cm (0–4") for XL–5XL. The sample in the photos is size XXS, knit in Soop For Sil, on a model with a 78 cm (30¾") bust — about 2 cm (¾") of positive ease. The pattern includes fit tips for knitting the body to your preferred length and for lengthening the sleeves.
**Gauge**
26 sts × 36 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4") in the *Seed-Pearl Block Stitch* on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles, after washing and blocking. Swatch in the pattern stitch, then wash and block before measuring.
**Needles**
3.5 mm (US 4) circular, 80–120 cm depending on size, for the yoke and body · 3.5 mm (US 4) DPNs or a long circular for Magic Loop for the sleeves · 3.0 mm (US 2.5) needle, or a half size smaller than your body needle, for the hem rib.
**Yarn**
*Suggestion 1 (sample):* Soop For Sil by Linea (35% linen, 65% cotton), single strand — main color 200 (200) 250 (250) 250 (300) 300 (350) 350 (400) g; contrast color 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) 100 (100) 100 (100) g.
*Suggestion 2:* [Wool Cotton by Kit Couture](https://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/kit-couture-wool-cotton) (53% wool, 47% cotton) — main color 200 (200) 200 (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) 300 (350) g; contrast color 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) 100 (100) 100 (100) g.
Any fingering- or sport-weight yarn that meets gauge works — about 825–1650 m (902–1804 yds) of main and contrast color together in the sample yarn, depending on size. Bleed-test the contrast color before knitting; the pattern explains how.
**Notions**
Stitch markers · barber cords or waste yarn · tapestry needle · crochet hook.
