Boo the Ghost Softie

The free pattern will be available on my website beginning September 14, 2026 at 12:01 am Eastern. Boo the Ghost Softie is worked flat in two pieces. After you make the front and back panels, the eyes and mouth are added and the pieces are seamed together and stuffed. I made my larger ghost with Bernat Blanket, Super Bulky \[6\] yarn and a 6.50 mm (K) crochet hook. It measures approximately 13.5 inches (34.3 cm) long × 10 inches (25.4 cm) wide × 4 inches (10.2 cm) deep. You can also use a different yarn and hook to change the finished size. I tested the pattern with Light Weight Yarn \[3\] and a 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook. My smaller ghost measured approximately 6 inches (15.2 cm) high × 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide.
