RIBBED ONE (scarf)

**RIBBED ONE** is the first of a series of practice patterns for beginners. Once you've learned the basics (CO, BO, k & p) worked flat, this is a lovely project to practice your stitching. For experienced knitters, this would be a great go-to reference for a basic ribbed scarf. There are three different colour options for the scarf: one colour and two different striped versions. Once you know how to work a knit and a purl, this is a good first project to practice your stitching. Instructions for the first page is for a one-colour scarf, if you’re ready to manage knitting more than one colour, the instructions on page 2 is worked in narrow stripes where the yarn can be carried up the side of the work.
