Gneptune is a dapper gnome. While he’s gazing over the mists rolling in over a rocky shore, his sweater keeps him warm and dry…and stylish. Make sure you stop and say hello when you see him. He’s always got the seat with the best view, no matter which cafe or pub he’s in, or which rock he’s perched upon. The textured stitches we are using often show gaps that don’t look great with stuffing behind them. That’s why we are going up a yarn size for part of the gnome. Even though the pattern isn’t officially designed for DK plus worsted, I know many of you prefer to knit with thicker yarn. Several test knitters and dyers worked up versions of him in DK. The kits in DK will contain enough yarn that you can make the gnome.
