Gauge: 13 stitches x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 7 mm needles. Length measured from the centre back, from the upper edge of the ribbing to the lower edge of the ribbing: approx. 53 (55) 56 (57) 58 cm. Chest measurement of the finished vest: 80 (89) 98 (108) 117 cm. Difficulty level: Intermediate. NOTE: Adel Slipover is knitted with 3 strands held together. One strand from yarn option A, one strand from yarn option B, and one strand from yarn option C. Yarn option A: Bella by Permin. Yarn option B: Luna by Permin. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ADEL SLIPOVER Adel Slipover O-neck is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch with three strands held together, creating a soft texture with a subtle shimmer from the sequin yarn. The rib edges are knitted without the sequin yarn. The work begins with the back piece, which is knitted back and forth and shaped with armhole increases. The front pieces are then knitted and shaped with neck decreases as well as armhole increases. Once the back piece and front pieces are finished, they are joined on a circular needle and the body is continued in the round. The slipover is finished with rib edges at the bottom and along the neckline, as well as a decorative I-cord edge around the armholes. The model has a slightly fitted shape and is designed to be worn over shirts, blouses or dresses. The model in the photo has a chest measurement of 88 cm and is wearing size XS and size L.
