Tiny Octopus

This adorably tiny baby octopus is a great place to start if you are new to seamless crochet. It is a super fast pattern, and with no little pieces to sew on and only one tail to weave in, it is every crocheter's dream amigurumi pattern and a great gift! **Gauge/ Finished measurements:** 3.5 stitches wide and 4 rows tall per square inch/ approx. 2 inches high and approx. 2 inches wide **Materials and Supplies:** I Love This Cotton! (100% cotton, 100 grams/ 180 yards), one ball each in: Orchid Amethyst White 4.0 mm/ G crochet hook Stuffing Scissors One pair of 8mm safety eyes with backs Tapestry/ Yarn needle Stitch marker (these are not mentioned in the pattern, but I usually put one in the first stitch of each rnd and move it up when I reach the last stitch of each rnd.) **Abbreviations:** Mg- magic ring, also known as the amigurumi ring Rnd - round Sc - single crochet Inc -increase Ct - change color to _____ St - stitch Dec - invisible decrease **PLEASE NOTE:** It is important when using my patterns that you follow the instructions IN THE ORDER THEY ARE WRITTEN! The yarn comes in 100 gram, worsted weight balls, so you can get about 4 octopi out of your set of 3 balls.
