For this toy are used two different type of threads with approximately equal thickness, 100% cotton. Light beige number 03, Blue number 15 Pehorka Openwork 306 yards (280 meters), 50 grams (1.76 ounces), dark grey and white threads Kirov Yarn Mills Iris 100% cotton 150 meters(164 yards) in 25 grams (0,88 ounces), that is approximately equal to the size 10. For the wings filament thread (fishing line) is used 0,3 mm, black or invisible filament thread 0,15 mm, DMS floss thread light silver. For the eyes and antennas DMS floss thread dark grey, beige, lilac colors. • Hook 1,25 mm for filament details of the wings, 0,9 or 1 mm for the main crochet details, 0,75 or 0,6 mm for embroidery on the wings. • Filler for stuffing. Tweezers also for stuffing. Blunt needle for the wings. • Steel wire frame for the wings 0,7 mm, for the body and legs 0,9 or 1 mm. Floristic wire is more suitable. Medical tape for wrapping body frame. • If you want paint your toy, use my technique or another as you like. In this case I used soft pastel and proof liners Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen or Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Brush (dark grey), White gel pen. • Acrylic varnish and PVA glue for wood for priming. • Brushes for painting and priming. • And universal invisible glue, that not leave traces for wrapping the wings, legs frame. I recommend Moment Crystal by Henkel. • Two glass cabochons 6 mm in diameter for the eyes. Or you can use any suitable buttons, or cut details from durable plastic or sculpt demisphers.
