The Eloria Pullover is the third design in the Eloria series, following the Eloria Slipover and Eloria Cardigan - I simply couldn't let go of this cable and textured stitch combination after the first two designs. The Eloria Pullover is an oversized drop-shoulder V-neck design that combines elegant cables with subtle texture for a timeless yet distinctive look. A striking quail cable panel flows from the V-neckline and continues down the centre front, creating a beautiful focal point. Smaller zigzag cables run vertically along each side of the body on both the front and back, framed by faux side seams that add structure to the relaxed silhouette. The spaces between the cables are worked in a purl ridge texture, bringing depth and visual interest to the fabric. The quail cable motif is echoed along the top of the sleeves, while the sleeve undersides feature faux seam stitches that mirror the body. Reverse stockinette decrease lines create a clean visual contrast, and classic 2×2 ribbing finishes the neckline, cuffs, and hem for a polished look. **CONSTRUCTION** The Eloria Pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. The upper back is worked first. German short rows are used to shape both the shoulders and the back neckline before the back is worked flat to the underarm. Stitches are then picked up along the cast-on edge to work each front separately. German short rows shape the shoulders, while increases form the V-neckline. Once both fronts are complete, they are joined and worked flat to the underarm. The front and back are then joined and worked in the round to the hem, which is finished with 2×2 ribbing. Next, stitches are picked up around the neckline to work the neckband. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves in the round. The sleeves are slightly tapered and finished with moderately wide 2×2 ribbed cuffs. Most of the pattern is presented in chart form, with some sections explained using written instructions only. The pattern was tech-edited by Marie-Eve Wedge and test knitted by a wonderful group of knitters. Sizes 6 and 7 have not been test knitted. For my pink sample, I used Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (100% merino wool, 50 g = 125 m / 137 yards), in the Pink Daisies shade. For my light green sample, I used Knitting for Olive Merino (100% merino wool, 50 g = 250 m / 273 yards), held together with Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% mulberry silk, 25 g = 225 m / 246 yards), both in the Dusty Artichoke shade. You will need approximately: 1020 (1080; 1145; 1210) (1275; 1345; 1405; 1455) m / 1115 (1180; 1255; 1320) (1395; 1475; 1540; 1590) yards of worsted weight yarn when using a single strand. For fingering weight yarn held together with lace weight yarn, plan for the meterage and yardage listed above for each yarn. **NEEDLES AND NOTIONS** * 4.5 mm / US 7 circular needles of 40 and 80 cm / 16" and 32" for the main fabric. Or needle size needed to reach gauge. * 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles of 40 and 80 cm / 16" and 32" for the ribbing and neckband.
