KVAN vante / mittens

KVAN Mittens are inspired by the Greenlandic landscape and the repeating shapes and rhythms found in nature—from the movement of the sea and the structure of the mountains to the stems, leaves and flower heads of Greenlandic angelica (Angelica archangelica). The mittens are knitted in stranded colourwork using two contrasting colours. You can choose colours inspired by the Arctic landscape or create your own personal combination. The pattern is written in one size. The length of the thumb can easily be adjusted to suit your hand. Yarn: Bio Shetland, 100% wool held double. Less than one skein of each colour is required for one pair of mittens. Needles: 3.5 mm Language: This pattern is in Danish and English.
