Salt Marsh Cardi

Salt Marsh Cardi was inspired by summer sunsets amongst tall grasses in brackish waters. It has A-line shaping, a slight drop shoulder, and roomy three-quarter length sleeves with elegant drape. The body is worked flat from the bottom up to the arms, at which point the back and front are worked separately. Sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round. Collar band stitches are picked up and worked flat. The bottom, sleeves, and collar band have folded hems. The striping and stem heights end at the arm hole separation and fall below the bust in the sample. However, the striping and variable stem heights can be adjusted to suit any bust line by varying the number of chart repeats in the lower section of body.
