Bistro Socks

The Bistro Socks are worked from the cuff down, finishing with the toe. They are started with a folded cuff with a picot edge, followed by the leg worked in the colourwork pattern. The heel flaps are worked with a reinforced heel flap and gusset. Yarn: 100g of fingering weight yarn in main colour and 15-20g of fingering weight yarn in contrast colour. Sample knit in Sewrella Yarn Nylon Sock. Needles: US 1/2.25mm circular needle or whatever needle meets gauge for stockinette; US2/2.75mm circular needle or whatever needle meets gauge for colourwork Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in end, stitch marker Gauge: 36 stitches per 4 inches/10cm in both stockinette and colourwork - you will likely need to size up needle for colourwork Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) - designed to fit foot circumference of approximately 7.5in/19cm, 8in/20cm, 8.5in/22cm, 9in/23cm. Recommended negative ease for these socks is 1in/2.5cm. Always measure at the widest part of your foot.
