Halloweeny Striped Socks

Inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, in classic Halloween colors. You start by knittng the cuff and end with the toe, all the while knittng stripes in three different colors. The socks feature a reinforced heel flap, but of course you can substitute your favorite heel construction. The pattern features 3 different sizes: S (M) L that roughly correspond to shoe sizes EU 37/38 (39/40) 41/42 or US 7,5 (8,5) 9. The recommended yarn is Lana Grossa Meilenweit 50 (50 g = 210 m) in the following colors: 1106 Black 1422 Orange 1399 Neon-Purple You need 1 50g ball of each color. The amount is enough for any of the three sizes. Please note that you might need more yarn if you knit the leg or the foot longer than described in the pattern. If you want to use scraps, you'll need approx. 32 (35) 38g of the color black, 22 (25) 28g of the colors orange and purple.
